The first is excellent by any measure. Waltz is best known for his books Man, the State, and War (1959) and Theory of International Politics (1979). In the January 28th issue, The State named Charlie Justice “North Carolina's Man of the Year for 1949,” with a Morton portrait of the Justice family on the cover. I really enjoyed "Man, the State, and War" by Walt, and I've read a few of Mearsheimer's articles.
